Prompt and Expeditious Restoration of Start-up Plant after Fire

Challenge:

Unforeseen hazards at any industrial plant cannot be avoided, even after following almost all the standard safety precautions. While automation optimizes a business, it can also be the cause of hazards like fire -  for example, Electrical overloads increase the potential of fire risks and workers are at risk for an electrical shock when stored energy is accumulated and unexpectedly released. According to Risk India Surveys; India ranks 3rd in fire incidents.

The challenge further intensifies when recovery time takes longer than usual thus hampering the business’s profitability. Understanding the root cause of the hazard and eliminating future mishaps while getting the plant back in working condition requires expert analysis and damage control management.

A fire incident in a factory poses risks to human life and the environment. Contamination is caused by the fire via a fire plume and its diffusion when the particulates and other materials get deposited into the soil and the water in the surrounding area. These depositions can be toxic and hazardous to the environment and to the people living or working in the area. To avoid such environmental harm, Velox Automation takes Fire Safety and Crisis Management very seriously. We educate our clients on crisis management and how to get back to normal functioning.
