Turnkey Electrical – Automation and Instrumentation Solution
The Challenge:
Aaronk is a South Korean OEM that entered the Indian market with their first order for solar PV cell manufacturing from M/S Renew. They were looking for a capable contractor for electrical panel supply, automation system solution providers and fieldwork. Velox was able to meet all their expectations and became a single-window solution provider for their entire project needs. Velox was awarded complete turnkey projects for both PEX and PGS systems. These systems also needed to be integrated with the main plant FMCS SCADA DCS system. Velox’s expertise in complete plan integration came in very handy.
The Solution:
For the automation system, a Siemens PCS7 DCS system with hot redundant controllers and multiple operator and engineering stations was used. The entire network was Profinet, and the VFDs were also connected over Profinet. Various field instruments for the measurement of critical process parameters were supplied by Siemens. The electrical panels were fully type-tested MV and LV panels, IPAN and Siepan 8PU from Siemens. For power quality solutions, an active harmonic filtering system was also installed. The entire fieldwork, including installation, testing, calibration and commissioning, was carried out by Velox with its reliable and experienced team. Integration with third-party systems and the central FMCS DCS system was easily handled.
